Artist Statement
Summer Son is a Modern Country Band based out of the Chicagoland Area. A lot of youthful energy with a little mud on the tires! Comprised of some of the strongest players in the Chicagoland area, and with a performance history that is already quite impressive, we are ready for gigs of any size or style. Our flexible setlist allows for shows from 45 minutes to 5 hours of music, as an opening act or headliner. Since the band’s inception in July of 2014 by our leader and Pennsylvania native, Justin Craig, we have already developed a large and loyal following spanning the nation, and our fan-base continues to grow after every show. Promoting is taken seriously for every single event, and the formula has proven to be successful. Every performance that Summer Son has played has been met with an immediate request for return shows from the venue–sometimes even right after sound check!
